RUSH SOFTWARE
All of these excellent low cost educational programs are
available from MegaDisc.
If you have kids of any age, or are still not too old to
learn, these educational titles are a must. They usually cost
twice as much, but have been reduced in price by placing the
manuals on disk and simplifying the packaging. This is the best
series of educational programs for the Amiga anywhere, and
certainly the least expensive, and entirely produced in Australia.

1. Cosmic Alphabet - Junior Typing Tutor ($29)
There are two games on this disk which are typing tutors in
disguise. You much guide your little character on screen to the
exit by typing the correct letters, otherwise...
2. Endless Stories - Creative Writing tool ($29)
A must for those English teachers out there. You can set up
lessons in this where you start off the story with half a sentence
and the children then follow on the storyline.
3. MilkyWay Cafe - Run your own business ($29)
This is a great game where you have to manage the Milky Way
Cafe. You need to learn about how much supplies to order, how
much food you can prepare and how much to sell it for so that you
can make a tidy profit. Very fun to play.
4. KidsPaint 2 - Junior Paint & more ($29)
A wonderful full featured painting program for kids. Has all
the necessary tools such as lines, boxes, circles and paint fills.
Even has different sound effect when selecting different colours.
5. KidsWrite - Junior WP with Speech ($29)
A junior word processor for kids. Familiarises the children
with how to use a word processor and what the basic features do.
Easy to use and understand.
6. KidsClose - Close passage generator/player ($29)
Design and play with your own crosswords. Has an easy to use
interface and brings up a question panel for the clues. The clue
is given and a list of all the words is in the column next to it.
You then chose a word for the clue or you can skip to another clue
as you wish.
7. KidsBase - Junior Database Creator ($29)
A feature packed database that is easy and fun for kids to
use. Great for kids (and parents) to learn the proper terminology
of the real world programs.
8. Teachers Test Kit - Test creator utility ($29)
9. Teachers MarkBook - Australian designed ($29)
The markbook program for teachers. You can enter classes with
up to 45 pupils and keep track of their marks. The program can
even give a pupil's estimated mark on a test.
10. Convicts of the First Fleet - Database ($29)
A database of convicts of the first fleet and includes lessons
for children to use. The lessons involve the child looking up
keywords in the database and in the process learn about how to use
databases.
11. Tradewind Travellers Around Australian ($29)
A geography "game" where up to four kids can navigate their
way around Australia. Teaches skills of navigation and direction
and is very fun to play.
